Visitor Restrictions Lifted effective March 14, 2022

  • All visitors and children over 5 years of age must follow the WNGH immunization policy.
  • All visitors must provide proof of vaccine (2 doses).
  • All visitors will be tested twice per week.
  • Visitors must demonstrate they have received a negative test on the day of the visit or the day prior.
  • All visitors must wear a surgical mask for the entire duration of their visit indoors.
  • All visitors must pre-schedule their visits for NCU, CCC and LTC.
  • Visiting hours will be 11 AM- 2 PM and 4 PM – 6 PM.
  • Two visitors at a time will be permitted per patient.

Testing for visitors is available in Pod 5 of the WNGH Medical Clinic, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 12:00 PM, walk-in.

COVID-19 Update for LTC effective March 14, 2022

  • All visitors and children over 5 years of age must follow the WNGH immunization policy.
  • All visitors must provide proof of vaccination (2 doses).
  • All visitors must pre-schedule their visits.
  • All visitors will be tested twice per week.
  • Visitors must demonstrate they have received a negative test on the day of the visit or the day prior.
  • LTC residents may have indoor visits with up to 4 general visitors and/or caregivers at any given time.
  • LTC residents are able to go on overnight absences regardless of their vaccine status.
  • Caregivers and visitors may accompany a resident for meals, however, they must keep their mask on at all times, and they cannot eat with the resident.
  • Personal care services (i.e. hairdressing, barber and foot care) are permitted.
