The Foundation

The West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation was founded in the town of Sturgeon Falls, District of West Nipissing on August 4, 1995.

Mission Statement

The West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation has the primary goal of providing ongoing resources for the best patient care, education and research in a community-oriented, well-equipped healthcare setting to benefit the people in the Nipissing District.

Message from the Foundation Chair

The WNGH Foundation was founded in 1995 and in the past 15 years it has been a vital financial support for our community hospital. Its mandate is to raise funds to provide and maintain excellent quality care for all residents of West Nipissing.

In co-operation with the Auxiliary, its sole purpose is to have available the funds needed to purchase hospital equipment, to identify infrastructural needs and to make funds available for the development of any needed in-hospital programs.

Each year we continue to surpass our financial target of money raised, so we can assure the residents of West Nipissing that they will receive the quality of care they need.

The W. N. Hospital counts on our financial support and as we have proven over and over again; we are a Community that cares. We support our Hospital and our Hospital is there for all of us.
